Goods Flow Management in the Supply Chain, WMS, Inventory and Warehouse Management

The PENTA Coil Management System solution has been designed to optimize the goods flows – in particular the movements of coils – in steel plants.

The PENTA CMS solution integrates the data issued by devices controlling the position of handling equipments such as overhead and lifting cranes, in order either to control their movements in real time or to operate them automatically.

Main features:

• operating the various handling resources (overhead cranes, forklifts,…) and optimizing their movements;
• selecting between automated and manual operation of the devices;
• calculating and optimizing locations according to the physical and logistical characteristics of the products.
