Goods Flow Management in the Supply Chain, WMS, Inventory and Warehouse Management

The PENTA Slab Management System solution is a software solution for the management of slab warehouses. The following functions are directed in real time by the PENTA system:

• registration of manufactured slabs,
• storage of the slabs,
• feeding of the sharpening machines according to production schedule,
• follow-up and simulation of the cooling curve with automatic warning procedure and storage in an incubator zone,
• management of specific tasks such as inspection, oxyfuel cutting etc.,
• management of expeditions,
• follow up of the slabs until their final use in the steel plant.

Like all other solutions offered by the PENTA suite, PENTA Slab Management System has been designed to interface seamless with the production PLC control units.
